Leisure takes a front seat this month as well, not just any kind of leisure but proactive leisure. What is that you may ask? Proactive leisure is when you make time in your schedule to do something that resembles doing nothing. In reality you are doing something: REACHARGING. 10 OUTDOOR STRESS RELIEVING ACTIVITIES 1. Taking a walk 2. Laying in the grass 3. Sitting under a tree meditating 4. Gardening (even a small pot on your balcony) 5. Swimming 6. Outdoor yoga or stretch sesh 7. Nature photography 8. Soap bubbles 9. Bike riding 10. Watch sunrise/sunset

ACTIVITY: MAKE YOUR OWN GOOD LUCK CHARM Good luck works in mysterious ways. Sometimes a swift wind brings it our way, and sometimes we drum it up ourselves. This activity focuses on the latter. Follow the instructions to make your own good luck charm, infused with all your wishes and hearts desires. Carry it with you, or keep on your altar, this charm will be the very trinket you're looking for. What you need: -small jar -candle -Thyme (luck, courage, healing) -Oregano (healing + action) -Cinnamon (attract luck & happiness) -Sea Salt (EmotionaL balance, cleansing * Protection) -Basil (luck, peace, protection, mood elevation & stress relief) -Parsley (Luck, Wisdom, Strength & Transformation) -Black pepper (protection & strength) -Good luck sigil (looks like fish line drawing) -Paprika to to strengthen the spell) -Green candle - for the seal. What to do: 1. Light candle -and cover the flame with the small jar to extinguish, using the smoke to smudge and cleanse the jar. Let sit upside down for 1-2 minutes. 2. Hold onto your seat.... Mercury is officially in retrograde. "Mercury completes its orbit around the Sun in about 88 days, while Earth takes 365 days. Since Mercury travels faster, it zooms past Earth 3-4 times each year. As Mercury "rounds the bend," it appears to slow down, stop, move backward, stop again, then move forward— this cycle is known as retrograde or Rx from the Latin word "retrogradus" meaning "backward step." Mercury rules:

  • The conscious mind

  • How we perceive and relay information

  • Speaking, listening and negotiating

  • Buying and selling

  • Contracts, mails and other documents

  • Anything that has moving parts

  • Distribution networks

  • Short travels

Popular DON'Ts during Mercury Rx:

  • Do not sign contracts and submit important documents

  • Do not start a project that will take more than a day to complete

  • Schedules will keep changing, traffic will snarl, and important documents could be misplaced. For long trips, buy travelers checks, and carry-on important items and a set of clothing. Do not rely on weather reports; weather patterns can run wild.

  • repair, research, recalculate, rethink rewrite, retake, repossess, recall and remember
